Event Management by Alex is run by Alexandra Morosan in Melbourne. This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. If you have a question, email hello@eventmanagementbyalex.com.au.
What I collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number (optional), event date (optional), event type and your message. To keep spam out, the website also records the IP address and browser details the enquiry was sent from.
When you browse the site: Google Analytics records how the site is used, such as pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and how you arrived. It uses cookies to do this. It does not tell me who you are.
I also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site, such as where they click and how far they scroll. It records anonymised sessions and uses cookies. It does not capture what you type into the enquiry form.
If you email or call me directly, I keep that correspondence so I can plan your event.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to plan and run your event.
- To understand which pages are useful, so I can improve the website.
I do not sell your information, and I do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.
Where it is stored and who else sees it
- Enquiries are saved in this website’s private admin area and emailed to my business mailbox, which is provided by Google Workspace.
- Website usage data is processed by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
- If you book, I share only what is needed with the suppliers and venue for your event (for example, a name and arrival time).
Google and Microsoft may store data on servers outside Australia. Links to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and my online shop take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Records for events I deliver are kept for as long as I need them for that event and for my business and tax records.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@eventmanagementbyalex.com.au and I will respond within 30 days. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
If you are not happy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first so I can fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
